Our Infrastructure Advisory Group in Perth is offering a career-minded young professional the opportunity to join the team to support the delivery of strategic planning and design advice on multimodal transport, freight, public transport, cycling and pedestrian studies. The role will enable you to:
+ Work directly with and learn from senior members of staff.
+ Contribute to early phase transport advice and business cases delivering future infrastructure in Perth and across Australia.
+ Deliver on detailed transport planning assessment, supporting urban renewal projects and plans.
+ Integrate with our Infrastructure Sustainability team, learning how to embed sustainability and resilience principals into our transport planning projects.
+ Work alongside our dynamic GIS and digital teams to prepare accessible and reliable project outcomes.
The Infrastructure Advisory group, along with AECOM in general, will provide you with the tools and opportunity to connect with innovative teams and colleagues across our Australian and international offices, and the opportunity to work on influential projects throughout Australia and beyond.
As a dynamic member of our group you will be excited and motivated to support the delivery of inputs throughout the project lifecycle:

You will make the steps into AECOM management process with formal Project Management training, identify new business opportunities in future, in collaboration with the senior team and proactively keep abreast with industry developments. You will be passionate about identifying problems in our urban and rural environments, and determining viable, equitable, and ESG balanced transport solutions. You will embrace integration with digital platforms and contribute to developing innovations and communicating solutions to our clients.

Minimum Requirements
+ A strong technical background with demonstrable experience in traffic, public transport, and/or active transport planning and analysis.
+ Experience in transportation planning for cities/ regions / corridors and across transport modes.
+ Experience in preparing and delivering robust analysis for business case inputs.
+ Experience in aiding with the bid process, winning and delivering Infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time.
+ Active with a professional body or industry forum applicable to your current position
+ An awareness of the role of transport modelling and traffic engineering in transport planning projects
+ A keen interest in delivering sustainable project outcomes with regard to the social, environmental, and economic impacts of development and transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Approximately 6+ years relevant professional experience.
