We are seeking a caring and reliable Educator to support the day-to-day care, supervision, and development of children in a group setting. You will work closely with a team of educators to deliver engaging activities while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities
* Provide attentive care and supervision to children in a group setting, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and active participation
* Set up and maintain learning environments, including preparing resources and equipment for daily activities
* Plan and lead age-appropriate experiences such as creative play, storytelling, arts and crafts, educational activities, and outdoor play
* Support children with daily routines including meals, dressing, toileting, rest time, and personal hygiene
* Encourage positive behaviour and guide children through social interactions, including assisting with conflict resolution
* Contribute to children’s development across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains through meaningful engagement
* Monitor children’s progress and wellbeing, and communicate relevant observations or concerns to senior staff and families
* Develop positive and respectful relationships with children and families to foster a supportive and inclusive environment
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
* Adhere to all centre policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with childcare standards
* Work collaboratively with team members to deliver consistent and high-quality care and educational programs
Qualifications and Experience Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) and at least 1 year of full-time relevant experience Skills & Requirements
* Previous experience working in a childcare or early learning environment
* Sound understanding of child development and early learning frameworks
* Ability to guide children’s behaviour in a positive and constructive manner
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

Working with Children Check (WA)
* Current
First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer
