As the Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for structuring and evaluating finance solutions, performing detailed credit and risk assessments, and managing loan applications through to settlement.
This role requires strong financial acumen, sound risk management capability, and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and multitask across multiple transactions simultaneously.
You will also build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, brokers, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless end-to-end lending process.
* Collaborate closely with the Deal Origination team to review, assess, structure and condition tailored finance solutions aligned to client needs.
* Conduct thorough due diligence on all parties involved in prospective transactions, ensuring appropriate risk assessment and mitigation.
* Work in partnership with the Property team to evaluate underlying property/security and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with the Construction team to assess construction-related security and obtain required documentation to support compliant lending decisions.
* Undertake comprehensive and timely credit investigations to assess deal viability and the credibility of counterparties.
* Prepare detailed Credit Papers for both standard lending and construction facilities to support funding approvals.
* Prepare Funding Proposals and liaise with the Funding team to ensure capital is secured for settlement.
* Liaise with brokers, clients, solicitors, investors, service providers and internal stakeholders to proactively manage transactions through to settlement.
* Underwrite and assess loan applications from initial submission through to settlement, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness.
* Deliver a seamless end-to-end process and exceptional service to strengthen and grow stakeholder relationships.
* Collect, review and follow up required financial documentation on behalf of directors to support efficient deal progression.
* Maintain accurate records within the CRM system and perform associated administrative tasks to support the lending process.
