Primary objective
In line with Tourism NT's marketing strategy, produce high quality written and digital content to showcase the very best of
the Northern Territory to global audiences, maximising awareness and conversion for the NT as a leisure travel destination.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide a high quality production service to a range of internal clients for both internal and external facing written content
material.
2. The ideation, planning, drafting, approval, content modelling, editing, formatting, publication, and structuring of written
content for the website and email channel, ensuring SEO and best practice is maintained

3. Work collaboratively with all Tourism NT internal marketing teams to ensure alignment between campaign and content
objectives.
1. Assist with design and production of a variety of marketing materials including print and digital.
2. Assist in the development and production of marketing material and publications as directed, including sourcing
information, graphic/creative direction, copywriting, proofing, and printing.
9. Provide brand advice and direction to both internal and external stakeholders ensuring that all marketing and
communication activity produced is in keeping with the Tourism NT brand guidelines.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Copywriting experience for website and electronic direct mail (eDM) and familiarity with best practice in digital content
production.
1. Demonstrated experience and ability in interpreting website and email analytics to deliver optimisation of written content
and proactively identifying opportunities for new content creation.
1. Experience creating and executing effective email marketing campaigns, with experience working in marketing
automation platforms.
1. Demonstrated experience working with content management systems (CMS) and publishing platforms.
2. Proven ability producing and editing written content for social media such as Facebook and Instagram.
3. Flexibility to undertake work travel and to work outside standard hours, as required.
Desirable
1. Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, tourism and/or other related discipline.
2. Experience in SEO programs, for example Semrush or other similar systems.
1. Experience with mobile phone social media video content creation especially Instagram stories.
2. Skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
3. Knowledge and understanding of the Northern Territory tourism industry, or the ability to obtain such knowledge quickly.
4. Current Class C Australian drivers licence.
