About the role
This is a full-time Medical Receptionist role based in Broken Hill, NSW 2880. As a Medical Receptionist at Broken Hill GP Super Clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to patients and supporting the smooth running of the clinic's operations. What you'll be doing
1. Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
2. Scheduling and managing patient appointments
3. Answering incoming phone calls and enquiries
4. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
5. Assisting with the processing of medical invoices and payments
6. Providing general administrative support to the clinic team
7. Adhering to all relevant medical and administrative protocols
What we're looking for
1. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues and other stakeholders
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. Proficient in the use of medical and office software, including electronic medical record systems is highly desirable
4. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
5. Previous experience in a medical reception or administrative role is highly desirable
6. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy
