Our client is a market leader in the design, construction and operations of mineral processing plants for the global resources sector. The role will require but not be limited to:Working as part of an experienced and established Materials Handling team to leverage previous project designs, whilst still being adaptable and able to provide innovative designs and thinking when requiredWork across a continuous succession of small and large, domestic and international projects as they progress through the project lifecycle from early concept development, detailed design, construction and operationsPreparing conceptual and detailed design of various ore crushing and conveying facilities and associated servicesDefining and recommending design methods, specifications and performance of functional requirements for new projectsUndertaking or supervising the preparation of feasibility studies, surveys and reports, design layouts, bill of quantities and cost estimates. Generating equipment specifications and support the equipment evaluation and procurement activities during project execution.Managing mechanical discipline budget and schedule during the execution of projects in all phases of maturity.Carrying-out site inspections and liaising with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers. Engineering support to installation, construction and commissioning teams with the occasional deployment as a commissioning resource.Liaising with internal and external clients, other discipline professionals, and stakeholders within the industry to ensure the timely, accurate and cost effective delivery of projectsWhat are we looking for?Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)At least 10 years’ experience, preferably in the project design, commissioning and onsite operation environmentsExperience with materials handling equipment such as conveyors, crushing, screening and milling.Site-based practical experience with commissioning, operations and problem solving issues will be highly regardedMaterials handling experience with multiple commodity types highly regarded.You will have experience leading and mentoring junior Engineers and enjoy these responsibilities.Communication and leadership skills combined with the ability to provide advanced technical solutions and problem solve are essential to the role.RPEQ, CPEng or Chartered Status will be highly regarded, however not essential.What we will offered:Flexible arrangements to help you achieve work-life balanceA focus on your professional development and opportunities to grow your career within their organisation.A collaborative focus on continuous improvement and innovation in our safety cultureA friendly and social work environment Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
