About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team as a Provisional Psychologist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality evidence-based clinical care to adults aged 18 years and over who experience mental health concerns and their families and carers.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf, and establish effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct intake and assessments, including risk assessments, care treatment planning, care coordination with internal & external services, and provide brief psychological intervention.
Requirements:
* AHPRA registration as a Psychologist (Provisional or General).
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions and clinical practice in mental health and alcohol and drug use.
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
