About the Role

The People & Culture Team Leader is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping a positive, culturally safe and high-performing workplace.

* Working closely with the Executive and senior leaders, you will:
* Lead workforce strategy, culture and capability initiatives
* Support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employment pathways
* Provide expert advice on recruitment, workforce planning and employee relations
* Strengthen performance, engagement and leadership practices
* Lead a small specialist P&C team

This role offers the opportunity to influence organisational sustainability and enhance how people experience work at Bidgerdii.

About You

You are values-driven and passionate about improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

You will bring:

* Senior People & Culture / HR leadership experience within a complex organisation
* Minimum 5 years' experience in HR, including team leadership
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, WHS or related discipline
* Strong knowledge of workforce strategy, IR, performance and culture
* Strong coaching and advisory capability
* Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled principles
* Experience in health, community services or ACCHO environments (desirable)

Requirements

* Valid QLD Blue Card
* Police Criminal History Check
* QLD C Class Driver's Licence
* Compliance with mandatory immunisations
