The Opportunity

As an Administrative Officer Level 5, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day supervision of administrative staff in the Nuclear Medicine/PET Department and Neuroendocrine Unit. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating administrative systems and procedures to enable the Department Head, the Department of Nuclear Medicine/PET and Neuroendocrine Unit to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable, and efficient manner.

* You will possess the ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks while managing competing work priorities and workflow within allocated resources.
* You will determine priorities for others, allocate tasks, coach, and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives.
* You will demonstrate initiative and creativity in problem-solving.
* You will exhibit high-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and customer service approach.
* You will be committed to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures.
* You will have a high level of ability in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* You will possess high-level word processing skills and good attention to detail.
* You will have experience working effectively in a hospital or clinic setting.
