Job Description
Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in Hunter NSW. We are looking for a caring individual who can sit and have a chat in Polish, reminisce, and talk about topics of interest with an elderly person living with dementia. Ideally, you will be able to speak Polish conversationally.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Requirements
18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
