Qualifications
* (applicable license and/or certification); Registered Electrical Engr./ Registered Mechanical Engineer
* (professional experience); 3 yrs. experience relative to operation, repair, and maintenance of primary equipment and its appurtenances
* Troubleshooting and repair of primary equipment defects
* Basic Control (mechanical/electrical) of substation primary equipment
* Can operate SF6 gas service cart
* Can operate oil purifying equipment
* Knowledgeable in substation primary equipment
* Knowledgeable in gas insulated switchgear
* Knowledgeable in basic computer skills
* Works smart
* Persistent hard worker
* Team player
* Strong leadership qualities
Key Responsibilities
Responsible in the organization of preparatory and implementation of planned and unplanned activities of the section's related maintenance works, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of substation primary equipment and its appurtenances for all voltage levels.
* Takes the lead and conducts implementation of substation primary equipment inspection, repair, and maintenance work programs.
* Recognizes the implementation of programs for the effectiveness, defects free, and audit free substation.
* Ensures all equipment and tools are in operating condition, clean, and ready for use.
* Participates and contributes in the implementation of turned‐over projects for the appropriate methodology erection, assembly and evaluates new substation primary equipment.
* Provides technical services to external customers (Distribution Utilities, Industrial Plants, and Power Plants), Planning and Engineering, Districts/Department outside NCR, and other sections within MTD.
* Maximizes resources in the implementation of repair and maintenance of substation primary equipment and its appurtenances.
* Ensures activities follow with environmental requirements and standards.
