CT LAB is seeking a technically strong and commercially minded Sales Engineer to lead sales engagement, solution design, and delivery support for our industry-leading power quality instruments and grid monitoring platform (Grid OS).
With growing demand from both electricity utilities and industrial customers, you'll play a vital role in deploying precision PQ metering and compliance monitoring solutions that improve power quality, reduce downtime, and support energy efficiency goals.
What you'll do
1. Lead technical sales engagements with utilities, EPCs, and industrial clients
2. Scope and deliver tailored monitoring solutions using Class A instruments, PMUs, and edge analytics
3. Respond to RFQs, tenders, and proposals aligned with standards like IEC, AEMO rules
4. Conduct onsite audits for PQ events including harmonics, sags/swells, flicker and transients
5. Support sustainability outcomes through insights on power factor, energy waste, and equipment health
6. Deliver product demos and training for grid and plant engineers
7. Collaborate with global engineering and R&D teams on custom deployments
8. Representing CT LAB at conferences and industry events
What you bring
* B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline (to qualify for Engineer title) or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in technical sales (to qualify for Professional title)
* 5+ years in technical sales, pre-sales, or application engineering
* Understanding of power quality events and compliance frameworks
* Experience with SCADA/PQM/PMU instrumentation or IIoT solutions
* Strong communication and data presentation skills
* Willingness to travel
Bonus if you have
* Experience working with electricity network operators or embedded networks
* Industrial sector exposure (e.g., manufacturing, data centrescenters, mining, utilities)
* Familiarity with ESG frameworks, energy audits, or predictive maintenance strategies
* Hands-on experience with portable loggers or hosted grid analytics tools
