Role Overview
This role will provide social work support across all the Pathways services in the Nelson and Marlborough region. Our services include community and residential support. A key part of the role is supporting our tāngata whai ora towards independent living in the community. The role is 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, based in Nelson.

Responsibilities
* Provide social work support to people in our service, working with them to achieve independence and wellbeing goals.
* Support the wellbeing and independence of the people we support, including supporting Team Coaches and Support Workers.
* Contribute to projects, particularly those aimed at enabling people to thrive and supporting smoking cessation.
* Maintain a caring, friendly, approachable manner and be a team player and excellent communicator, bringing fun and laughter to the work environment.
Qualifications
* New Zealand registered social worker, ideally with experience in the mental health sector.
* Full New Zealand driver's licence.
* Passion to work with a diverse population and a non‐judgmental approach.
* Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
* Ability to work well with other services such as Te Whatu Ora, PHOs, and the wider community and social sector.
