Assembler – Minto Assembly
We are looking for a hands-on and passionate assembler to join our team. In this role you will assemble products using technical drawings and work instructions, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are consistently met. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
About the Role:
* Assembling Minto products following work instructions and technical drawings
* Ensuring all work meets approved specifications, quality, and safety standards
* Performing required testing and inspections as directed, including conducting HVTB testing of electrical products
* Completing inspection and testing records accurately and reporting any product or process concerns to the Production Manager in a timely manner
* Managing tools and reporting any maintenance requirements to management
* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace while complying with recycling and waste management procedures
* Collaborating with team members and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
* Working in line with QHSE policies, ensuring safe and environmentally responsible practices
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in manufacturing or production environments
* Previous experience in electrical product assembly is desirable but not required
* Experience in testing and inspection processes, and with HVTB testing qualifications
* Demonstrated experience using general workshop tools and equipment, including air tools, hand tools, drills, and tapping equipment
* Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to identify and report product or process issues
* Strong organisational skills and good communication skills
* Awareness of workplace safety, quality, and environmental standards
* Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
