About Our School

St Michael’s College is a co-educational Catholic College welcoming secondary students from Years 7 to 12. Located on a hill in Merrimac, the school offers coastal breezes and expansive views. We focus on building a culture of Belonging, Care, and Connection, ensuring everyone in our community feels they belong, are cared for, and feel connected.

Our pastoral program is supported by the College Charism, founded on Respect, Courage, Justice, Protection, Integrity, and Dedication. Our teachers, support staff, and leadership team contribute to student success, with contemporary and innovative classroom pedagogy to deliver a student-centred, engaging curriculum. We are recognised on the Gold Coast for achievements across academic, cultural, sporting, and vocational fields, and we strive to educate head, heart, body, and spirit.

Our Catholic Christian faith is grounded in the charisms of the Christian Brothers (Edmund Rice) and the Sisters of Mercy (Catherine McAuley). We support students’ growth through pastoral care and wellbeing programs, with opportunities for staff involvement in camps, retreats, sports, and clubs. Explore our school website to learn more.
