About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Culinary Professional to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing quality food services to residents, taking direction from the Chef and preparing delicious, well-balanced meals.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook meals for residents, ensuring all food is prepared, cooked, and served in accordance with legislation.
* Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control.
* Purchase and order stock and equipment as needed.
Requirements
To be successful, you'll need:
* A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
* Demonstrated minimum 1 year's experience in a commercial kitchen within aged care or a hospital.
* Bulk cooking experience is highly desirable.
* Experience with texture modified food is advantageous.
* The ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and co-workers.
