Accounts assistant - vineyard

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at our Vineyard office. This is a full-time, permanent role supporting the day-to-day accounts function in a busy construction business.

You'll work closely with the broader finance and operations team, keeping accounts processes running accurately and on time.

• Managing accounts receivable and payable with accuracy and consistency
• Preparing weekly financial reports and reconciliations
• Supporting month‐end and year‐end processes
• Providing backup across other finance functions as needed
• General administrative support to the finance team

• Prior experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational habits
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• A proactive attitude and a process improvement mindset
• Prior experience in construction or job costing is a plus
• Familiarity with CHEOPS is advantageous — training provided for the right candidate
