Workfast are currently seeking experienced Civil Operators with a minimum of 2–3 years operating experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or roadworks projects. This is an ongoing opportunity with consistent work, with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position after 3 months for the right candidates.
* $40 – $45/hr + super + penalties

You will be working with a well-established, family-owned civil contractor on projects across the Sunshine Coast, joining a supportive and safety-focused team.

What You Need
* 2–3+ years experience operating machinery in civil construction
* Experience operating machinery such as excavators, skid steers, rollers, loaders, or similar
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Driver’s licence and reliable transport
* Strong understanding of site safety procedures
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
* Own PPE
What You Will Be Doing
* Operating civil machinery across infrastructure and roadwork projects
* Assisting with site preparation, trenching, earthworks and material movement
* Working alongside site supervisors and project teams to deliver works safely and efficiently
* Conducting basic machine checks and maintenance
* Supporting general civil construction activities where required
