About the Role Endeavour Foundation's Work division is focused on creating inclusive, sustainable employment opportunities for people with disability.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Work, the General Manager – Employment, Government Solutions you will spearhead their strategy to increase the participation of people with disability in public sector employment.
You'll work across all levels of government to design, implement and scale innovative supported employment programs – leading an agile, values-driven team committed to ensuring that Endeavour Foundation remains a leader in driving social and commercial impact.
Key to your success will be translating the recommendations of the Disability Royal Commission into scalable, sustainable action—ensuring that government is not just an employer of people with disability, but a leader in disability inclusion.
What You'll Do Lead the development and execution of inclusive employment strategies tailored for the government sector and drive Endeavours supported employment models across Federal, State and Local Government Lead strategic growth in government partnerships, programs and employment initiatives.
Oversee delivery of major government contracts (e.g.
Defence's Disability Assistance Program, Recycling Resource Centres, Launch into Work).
Champion financially sustainable business models that benefit both people with disability and government partners.
Be a visible leader and trusted advisor on disability employment to stakeholders across all levels of government.
Collaborate across the Endeavour leadership team to ensure program excellence, financial performance and inclusive impact.
About You You're a commercially astute, purpose-led leader with a deep understanding of government, disability inclusion, and operational excellence.
You're as comfortable in high-level strategy meetings as you are on the ground leading teams to deliver results.
You think in terms of systems, partnerships and outcomes—and you bring a deep belief in the power of work to transform lives.
Whether your background is in public service, consulting, employment services or community enterprise—you're ready to lead change at scale.
What you'll bring: Senior-level leadership experience across government, employment services, or human services.
A proven track record in leading complex, multi-site programs or contracts.
Knowledge of disability employment, policy or inclusion (NDIS knowledge desirable).
Strong financial, operational and people leadership skills.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
