About the Role
The Product Manager – Deposits and Partnerships is responsible for managing the deposit products and key commercial partnerships. This role ensures deposit products perform well, partners are effectively managed, and activities align with organisational goals. The role also leads deposit product discovery, improvements, and implementation to keep the product offering strong and relevant to Member and market needs.
This is a full-time position based on a 38-hour work week, with the successful applicant willing to work outside normal business hours to accommodate the needs of the department. The position can be based in our Brisbane Admin Office but for the right applicant we would also consider our Townsville Head Office or Cairns Admin Office. While we can currently offer an 18 month contract, there will likely be an ongoing permanent employment opportunity for the right candidate at the end of this period.
About You
* You might have spent your recent years within a wider Product team and are looking for your next step
* You'll enjoy contributing to development and implementation of the strategic direction for deposits products and commercial partnerships
* You are a strong communicator and enjoy engaging with people, have experience with managing expectations and delivering shared goals
* You have previous experience in banking, deposits/commercial partnerships, product development or project management
* You have experience in providing product expertise to internal stakeholders
* You enjoy coordinating product training material and promotions with other departments
* You have demonstrated experience providing actionable insights to inform product development, pricing strategies, and growth opportunities
* You can support key stakeholders with delivery of Product Reviews and actionable items
* Demonstrated ability in concept/product creation and execution that deliver financial and non-financial results
* Your attention to detail is a key asset in this role as you'll work toward improved efficiencies across our product offering and commercial partnerships
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or related field (desired)
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills
* Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
