About the Role
PCA Ground Engineering is seeking reliable and professional Plant Operators and Civil Labourers with strong civil construction experience, particularly in pipes, drainage and associated earthworks, who are looking to build a long-term career in the civil sector.
You will be working on a range of projects across Australia, supporting trenching, installation of stormwater and sewer infrastructure, drainage systems, backfilling, compaction and general civil works. This is a hands-on role where safety, teamwork and attention to detail are critical.

Due to the nature of this requirement, PCA are only considering applications with RII30920 Certificate III in Civil Construction (Pipe Laying).
Essential Criteria
* Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
* Drug and alcohol-free
* RII30920 Certificate III in Civil Construction (Pipe Laying)
* Civil construction experience, particularly pipes and drainage
* Team player with a positive and reliable attitude
* Punctual and dependable site attendance
* Current Construction Card (White Card)
* Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
* Good physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor conditions
* Willingness to work away from home when required
* Experience operating plant such as excavators, telehandlers, EWPs or similar machinery
Highly Regarded Skills & Experience
* Experience in trenching, pipe laying, stormwater and sewer installation
* Understanding of levels, grades and civil set-out for drainage works
* Experience in civil construction, groundworks or infrastructure projects
* Machinery tickets (excavator, forklift, telehandler, EWP, roller, skid steer, etc.)
* HR or HC driver’s licence
* C6 or higher crane tickets, dogman or rigger tickets
* Mechanical aptitude or basic maintenance knowledge
* First Aid, Working at Heights or Confined Spaces certification
* Experience working alongside piling or drilling crews (desirable but not essential)
