About the role
We are experiencing continued growth and are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Supervisor / Leading Hand to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‐on while also taking responsibility for leading site teams, coordinating works, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
You will work closely with Project Managers and play a key role in driving site productivity, maintaining compliance, and supporting overall project delivery.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Supervise and lead electrical tradespeople and subcontractors on site
* Coordinate daily site activities to ensure efficient and safe delivery of works
* Ensure compliance with HSE and QA requirements at all times
* Monitor project progress and report on milestones, risks, and resource requirements
* Assist with project planning, staging, and sequencing of works
* Manage labour, plant, equipment, and materials on site
* Liaise with Project Managers, clients, and other stakeholders
* Assist with project administration including variations, documentation, and reporting
* Maintain accurate project records including site documentation and as‐built information
* Identify and resolve site issues in a proactive manner
Qualifications & experience
* A-Class Electrical Licence
* White Card
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Proven experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisory role within electrical construction
* Strong understanding of construction projects, site processes, and documentation
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate site activities
* Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
* Experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical projects
* Experience on larger‐scale projects
* Exposure to project coordination or project engineering functions
* Competitive EBA or Salary, pending Leading Hand or Supervisor Role
