About The Role
We are seeking a Grants Administrative Officer to join our Grants Office team. This role provides high‐quality administrative support across the research grants lifecycle, with a focus on grants database administration, pre‐award communications, and post‐award compliance and reporting. Working under general supervision, you will support researchers and internal stakeholders by maintaining accurate grant records, coordinating administrative processes, and contributing to the smooth operation of the Grants Office.
What You'll Do
* Maintain and update grants management systems and databases across the grants lifecycle
* Provide administrative support during pre‐award and post‐award grant activities
* Assist with post‐award processes including variations, extensions and reporting
* Support preparation and submission of grant reports
* Liaise with researchers, finance teams and research offices
* Maintain grant documentation, filing systems and grant‐related web content
* Provide general administrative support to the Grants Office and internal programs
About You
You are an organised, reliable administrator with strong communication skills and a customer‐focused approach. You enjoy working as part of a team and supporting research success through accurate, timely administrative coordination. Flexibility may be required during peak grant periods, including occasional work outside standard hours.

* Experience in a research or grants administration environment
* Familiarity with online grants systems (e.g. Sapphire, RGMS, RMS)
* Database or systems administration experience
