An opportunity is available for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor / Planner to join a well-established industrial operation in Darwin. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of site maintenance outcomes, and thrives in a safety-focused, operational environment.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising maintenance activities to ensure plant and equipment are safe, reliable and performing at their best.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning and execution of preventative and reactive maintenance
* Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with site requirements
* Develop and improve maintenance strategies to support operational reliability
* Coordinate shutdowns and critical maintenance works
* Supervise contractors and minor projects on site
* Manage procurement of parts, materials and services with appropriate lead times
* Actively contribute to site safety initiatives
About You
* A relevant trade qualification (e.g. Mechanical Fitter, Industrial Mechanic or similar)
* Experience delivering structured maintenance programs in an industrial environment
* Strong contractor management and supervision skills
* Exposure to maintenance systems, procurement processes and budget control
* Knowledge of hazardous or high-risk environments such as bulk liquid or chemical processing sites
* A proven commitment to workplace safety and leadership
