Senior Project Manager Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our project team in delivering a major infrastructure project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of the project, including identifying and mitigating risks, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
About the Role
* Manage the technical risk and opportunities that present on the project
* Lead the development of any innovative and new initiatives or processes that may be trialled on the project
* Provide support to the Project Manager for any stakeholder management or contractual requirements
* Act as the representative of the Project Manager as required, including attending meetings with the Client and other stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the technical risk and opportunities that present on the project
2. Leading the development of any innovative and new initiatives or processes that may be trialled on the project
3. Providing support to the Project Manager for any stakeholder management or contractual requirements
4. Acting as the representative of the Project Manager as required, including attending meetings with the Client and other stakeholders
5. Considering innovative design options, engineering solutions and value for money initiatives and reviewing for practicality prior to implementation
6. Preparing construction plans and programs for the project in line with project expectations and assisting with preparation of site construction budgets and monthly reports
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or an associated discipline
* Construction experience in major projects of $100M+ is essential, with health experience preferred
* Experience and understanding of Industrial Relations policy and processes, including Right of Entry and Freedom of Association requirements
* Exceptional communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
* A collaborative approach and ability to drive project outcomes
