Our client is a market leading Blue Chip Global Marketing Leading FMCG business. They are now looking for a Procurement Category Manager to join their successful Procurement team.
To achieve success, you will need:
- Highly skilled at the preparation and execution of complex commercial negotiations.
- Exceptional ability to manipulate master data, crunch the numbers to identify spend trends and opportunities.
- Contribute to Procurement Strategy and Framework development and assist in leading organizational change.
- Extensive experience in undertaking procurement activities, ideally across a diverse range of categories.
- Food experience within FMCG is desirable
The role:
- Deliver sourcing activities ranging from simple RFQ to complex tenders to maximize commercial, operational and ESG outcomes.
- Identify opportunities, through spending analysis and partnering with Business Units
- Plan and execute sourcing activities and commercial negotiations in line with the businesses processes
- Deliver on all ESG standards
- Build and Maintain effective Supplier and Internal Relationships
