Job Overview
We are seeking a part-time Teacher Librarian to join our team at McCallums Hill Public School.
The successful candidate will have approval to teach and effectively manage a school library using the Oliver Library Management system.
They will also have a creative, innovative, and flexible approach to managing a stimulating library learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a school library using the Oliver Library Management system.
* Develop and implement a library program that engages all students and enhances their learning experiences.
* Build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
Requirements:
* Approval to teach LIP Library (Primary) or currently undertaking or enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the Department of Education.
* Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and enhance practice.
