As the Engagement Officer at LWAG, you play a vital role in cultivating an inclusive and vibrant environment, celebrating the transformative power and beauty of art. Reporting to the Manager of Engagement and Education, your responsibilities include initiating and overseeing initiatives to enhance the student experience, fostering broader engagement, and aligning programs with educational goals.
About you
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
1. Year 12 or equivalent competency.
2. Relevant experience in cultural institutions, preferably in roles related to arts or cultural development, art galleries or museums.
3. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing initiatives to enhance the student experience and foster engagement in educational or cultural contexts.
4. Proven ability to lead programs with a focus on maximising student involvement and promoting inclusivity, diversity, and community participation.
5. Demonstrated skills in communications, tailoring strategies for effective communication with diverse community segments while ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
6. Experience in supporting the establishment and implementation of audience/impact evaluation programs, emphasizing feedback from the community and assessing the broader impact on educational goals.
7. Proven ability to foster relationships with various stakeholders, including students, artists, curators, academics, and community representatives, aligning with LWAG's commitment to collaboration and diverse perspectives.
