Forklift Operator - Night Shift - (WAR )
Description
Join our established and growing business as a Forklift Operator at our Toowoomba depot. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for moving our freight with a focus on safely unloading tautliners. This Full-Time Permanent role offers job security in an established and passionate team where support and guidance is provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Efficiently and safely load general freight from body trucks and trailers
- Work Monday to Friday on the night shift with a start time between 9:30pm - 5:06am
- Ensure trailers are maximised for linehaul transportation
- Ensure strapping and securing freight trailers is done correctly and safely
- Follow a postcode sheet to place unloaded freight into the correct bays
- Maintain a steady work pace to meet departure times and maintain accuracy
- Adhere to established safety standards and guidelines

Qualifications
- Current forklift license
- Previous experience in a similar, quick-paced role
- Ability to maximise trailers to full utilisation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a postcode sheet for correct freight placement
- Ability to pass a criminal history check
