Audiologist Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional hearing services to individuals of all backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
* To assess and diagnose auditory problems in adults using established Australian practice methods and standards.
* To provide appropriate rehabilitative support, including the fitting of hearing aids and assistive listening devices, as required.
* To refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists when necessary.
* To participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits.
* To liaise with allied health and support agencies to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client.
* To undertake marketing and public relations activities in the community as required.
* To provide excellent customer service and manage client load effectively.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Audiology is essential.
* Full and current membership with the Audiology Society of Australia is required.
* Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards is essential.
* Sound knowledge of the Hearing Services Program is also required.
* Exposure to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme is preferred.
* Ability to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work is necessary.
* Willingness to support business changes to clinical practice, products, and policies is essential.
