Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Worker to provide high-quality support services.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver client-centered social work services, including assessment, case management, and therapeutic support.
* Advocate for clients to access essential health, housing, education, and social services.
* Work within a trauma-informed framework that prioritizes cultural safety.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and adhere to professional standards.
About You
* Degree in Social Work and eligibility for AASW membership.
* Experience in social work practice, preferably in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
* Strong understanding of social determinants of health and trauma-informed care principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Current driver's license and ability to travel within the region.
* Current Blue card or ability to obtain.
