About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the team at the Cruising Yacht Club in Rockingham, Western Australia. As a full-time Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you'll be doing
1. Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards
2. Ensuring all food is presented beautifully and in line with the restaurant's brand and standards
3. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
4. Assisting the Head Chef with menu planning and development
5. Proactively managing kitchen stock and supplies
6. Providing exceptional customer service to all guests
7. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a similar high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
2. Proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional customer service
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills
4. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
5. Passion for fresh, seasonal produce and creative cooking
6. Relevant culinary qualifications or certificates
7. Food safety and hygiene certification
