EML is a Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Claims Management business. We help people get their lives back through ongoing support during their return-to-work journey.

We are seeking a professional to proactively manage a portfolio of claims, provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, and support injured workers to recover and return to work.

This permanent, full-time position is based in either our Canberra or Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide early, timely, and personal customer-focused and empathetic service to injured workers and employers.
* Proactively and effectively manage all aspects of a caseload of worker's compensation claims within legislation and compliance guidelines.
* Deliver the desired customer experience to all stakeholders and manage the end-to-end outcomes for a portfolio of cases.
* Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand, including options about any claim, entitlements, obligations, and responsibilities.
* Conduct claims reviews, case conferences, or face-to-face meetings with clients as required.

About the Role:

* You have previous experience within the medical or corporate field, specialising in customer service.
* Experience in managing claims in the workers' compensation scheme or the Safety Rehabilitation Act (SRC) is advantageous but not necessary.
* You have an empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to providing customer-centric support.
* You are a driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
* You have careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy.
* You have strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
* You are committed to supporting injured workers with their recovery and return to work.
