New Homes Sales Associate and Interior Design Consultant

THE POSITION
At Desire Homes, we focus on creating an encouraging and information filled environment to sell and market our homes. You will be required to help generate and manage potential sales leads as well as helping with our social media and colour consultations (interior design). This position is a full time role. There is no experience required for this position, full personalised training will be offered for the right candidate. Some key responsibilities of this role include:
* Assist as a sales associate in our stunning and highly popular new Display Home in the Everleigh Estate at Greenbank
* Create a personable and professional relationship with the client to assist in creating leads for our sales team
* Assist in maintaining the day‑to‑day running of the display home, ensuring that it is kept at an extremely high level at all times
* Assist our sales team with communicating with clients through face‑to‑face communication and electronically
* Help manage our social media by creating new and exciting marketing posts, reels and stories and replying to comments
* Assist our interior design consultant in our in‑house colour consultations
* Provide an exceptionally high level of personalised customer service
* Sales and general administration duties
YOUR CAPABILITIES
In order to be successful in this role, you must:
* Have a strong interest in new homes sales/administration and interior design
* Be well presented
* Warm, friendly, helpful and cooperative with excellent communication skills
* Be reliable, honest, flexible and self‑motivated with excellent work ethics
* Be able to work closely with other team members to achieve the desirable outcome and have the ability to work with minimal supervision to manage your own workflow
* Understand our protocols and approach to new homes sales/administration, marketing and interior design and be able to adapt to our procedures
* Confident with software and possesses solid computer skills including accurate keyboard and email writing skills. This includes proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
* Equipped with high organisational skills
* Must demonstrate oral and written communication skills
* Must be available to work a couple of weekends a year if our main sales associate is on leave
* Hours of work are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. Position will commence from Monday 12th January, 2026
