Our team is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Category Manager - Projects
What you'll do:
Provide Category Management through sourcing, contracts, and contractor management services.
Undertake full lifecycle activities including sourcing strategy development, procurement planning, go to market, assessment, negotiation, recommendation, award, implementation, and contract management.
Support and influence ESG initiatives.
Leverage knowledge of category management and supply markets to achieve competitive advantage by seeking out improvement opportunities, reducing waste, and increasing value for money.
Challenge the status quo.
About you:
With relevant qualifications, you will have demonstrated experience in procurement, logistics, and/or supply chain.
You can evidence category management sourcing and contracts experience, along with practical experience in negotiating and confirming negotiated outcomes into contracts.
You drive for continuous improvement and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you influence stakeholders, develop effective working relationships, and drive for results whilst protecting Perth Airport's procurement interests.
