Job Title: English Teacher
Division: Independent Public School - Southwest Education Region
Salary: Teacher, $85,610 - $124,046 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2023)
This is a full-time position at the Western Australia College of Agriculture Harvey commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.
The college has a proven track record for developing competent, highly skilled graduates that are thoroughly prepared for post-school employment, further education and/or training. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role to ensure the wellbeing of students at the College.
We are looking for an effective and committed English Teacher to join our friendly team. The successful applicant will ideally show the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school English curriculum; year 10 Australian Curriculum and year 11 and 12 General English.
As part of this role you will engage and build productive working relationships with students and be involved collaboratively with your colleagues to improve student outcomes.
The successful applicant should have the ability to work collaboratively to plan and implement effective teaching and learning plans. Additionally, they will ideally provide excellence in creating and maintaining supportive and safe learning environment and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential.
With effective interpersonal skills, the successful applicant will work closely with students, colleagues and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students.
About the School
The Western Australia College of Agriculture Harvey is a co-educational school for students in Years 10, 11 and 12. As a specialist Agriculture and related trades training school, students come from across Western Australia with most boarding on site.

The College is located in Wokalup, 8kms south of the Harvey town centre, on a 900ha farm run on a semi-commercial basis.
