The role of the Senior Administration Officer is to provide high quality financial, human resource and administrative support to the Performance Reporting and Analytics Branch.
The Performance Reporting and Analytics Branch has an establishment of approximately 54 FTE and is responsible for monitoring, analysis and reporting on the performance of the child protection system, incorporating predictive analysis. This includes providing evidence through corporate data and predictive modelling to inform the strategic direction for Queensland's child and family reform agenda.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement and maintain effective administrative systems, including systems relating to the management of human resource, finance, asset, performance reporting and business processes.
* Provide timely, high quality advice and support on behalf of the Branch.
* Manage and undertake paperwork for the business processes relating to the human, financial and physical resources, including end of month processes, preparation of budget forecasts and expenditure, reconciliations and management of accommodation and assets.
* Provide assistance, support and mentoring to administrative staff within the team.
* Liaise with clients, Departmental officers and other government and non-government organisations as necessary.
* Actively practice and promote excellence in service delivery and public administration and identify opportunities for improving service to the Branch.
