**Job Title:** Inventory Manager
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory management both nationally and globally.

Caravan & Camping Aus is a fast-growing company that is a leading supplier to the RV and camping industry. We are rapidly increasing our 2,000+ product catalogue, consistent with furthering our sales across both wholesale and retail channels.
Responsibilities:
* Manage product forecasting to ensure the company maintains both adequate and balanced stock levels across all warehouses.
* Forecasting and placing orders for stock and packaging.
* Manage communication between warehouse and the corporate office, ensuring a great working relationship.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, with capability in price and procurement negotiation.
* Co-ordination of both domestic and international freight.
* Managing and ensuring delivery timelines are met, and product launch dates are maintained.
* Inventory control, including stock take and transfers.
* Provide accurate and timely communication regarding inventory status, order changes and delivery schedules.
* Resolve inventory or order-related issues promptly and effectively.
* Analyse inventory and freight costs, evaluating pricing strategies, and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvement.
* Implement robust control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory records and movements, minimising discrepancies, and risk.
Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in inventory/procurement
* FMCG/ wholesale/ retail industry experience preferred, or other competitive, fast-moving industries where sales and demand profiles fluctuate
* Developing sales and volumes forecasts / demand planning
* Supply planning working with multiple suppliers nationally and globally
* Sourcing / negotiation with suppliers
Technical Skills:
* Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to understand, manipulate and derive trends from data
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel with expertise in formulas, pivot tables, and report building. VBA experience advantageous
* Proficient with Inventory Management Systems (Unleashed advantageous but not essential)
