About Our Rehabilitation Consultant Role
As a Rehabilitation Consultant with Advanced Personnel Management, you will play a vital role in supporting our Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel as they return to wellness. This is a unique opportunity for nurses to leverage their clinical expertise and make a tangible impact on the lives of others.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with ADF members who have suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, other treatment providers, and allied health professionals to develop and implement rehabilitation plans that achieve specific health goals. Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate a return to wellness plan
* Applying nursing knowledge to support case management and rehabilitation planning
* Implementing and monitoring rehabilitation plans, including conducting initial assessments and worksite reviews
This role offers a genuine person-centred focus, with KPIs based on service delivery outcomes rather than billable hours. You will enjoy a work-life balance with set working hours, Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 16:00 and Fridays 07:30 - 13:30.
You will be supported and mentored through a comprehensive onboarding process, including direct interaction and ongoing shadowing, to build your technical knowledge and expertise.
