The total remuneration package ranges from $37.21 to $43.23 per hour, including employer's contribution to superannuation and leave loading.

Responsibilities
Provide support for students with diverse learning needs, including disability, under the direction and supervision of a teacher. Support the achievement of educational outcomes through classroom and other learning environment assistance. Provide student welfare, health and wellbeing activities as required. Provide specific support in pre‐school, vision support, hearing support and bilingual settings. Perform general duties applicable to all School Learning Support Officers.
Essential Requirements
* Working with Children Check clearance
* Completion of mandatory training required by the Department of Education and willingness to undertake first aid training relevant to the role
* Administration of medications – training to be provided based on student needs
* Health support training to be provided based on student needs (subject to transition provisions)
Specific Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Ability to work with students with emotional, physical or intellectual disabilities
* Awareness of the needs of students with emotional, physical or intellectual disabilities
* Effective communication skills
