Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. We are growing and always on the lookout for high calibre individuals to join our store teams. The Inspirations Paint Store at Port Augusta is looking for an enthusiastic part time Paint Sales Assistant to work 3-4 days (15-25 hours) a week with the possibility to work more hours for the right person.
Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage.
The position is available for immediate start and will include ongoing industry leading training, award wages and a uniform. Business hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 1:00pm Saturday.
Responsibilities
* Providing an exemplary customer experience to both retail and trade customers
* Tinting & mixing paint
* Following the "Inspirations Way"
* Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising
* Store presentation, stock management, housekeeping
* Deliveries to customers
* Workplace Health & Safety
Experience & Attributes
* Demonstrated customer service with personalised customer focus
* Well presented both in appearance and communication
* Able to contribute and work in a team environment
* Proven sales experience and a strong knowledge of paint and associated products
* Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaints
* Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systems
* Honest, reliable and punctual
* Must have current valid driver's licence
* This role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgs
