Position: Production Control Scheduler (Starship)


Responsibilities:

* Provide tactical and strategic long-range scheduling expertise to production teams.
* Coordinate and review input from engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and business development to maintain master schedules using Microsoft Office or applicable software.
* Collaborate across departments to understand critical work requests and mitigate schedule impact risks.
* Ensure MRP dates align with current vehicle products.
* Utilize factory scheduler applications and other tools to ensure accurate scheduling, prioritization, and resource allocation.
* Prepare daily work schedules, track progress, update project schedules, and advise leadership on adjustments.
* Schedule fixture, tooling, and test equipment requirements for efficient production.
* Support internal logistics for critical work movement.
* Push/pull work to improve lead times and meet schedule needs.
* Work with production, operations planning, and engineering to eliminate blockers.
* Stay informed about facilities and manpower.
* Lead root cause analysis and develop permanent solutions during product builds.
* Identify and support improvements in yield, quality, safety, cost, and efficiency.
* Streamline and automate production processes where applicable.
* Organize and communicate daily priorities to production staff.
* Provide schedule performance updates through daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
* Create metrics using queries and Excel to monitor shortages and schedule risks.


Basic Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of manufacturing scheduling experience.


Preferred Skills and Experience:

* 2+ years experience with MS Office.
* 2+ years experience with ERP/MRP systems in a production environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience writing SQL queries.
* Familiarity with lean principles, Six Sigma, and Kaizen concepts.
* Project management professional certification.


Additional Requirements:

* Availability for all shifts, extended hours, and weekends as needed.
* Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
* Ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
