**Loader Operator**
Permanent Full Time Position
Asphaltech is a leading civil construction company specialising in the production and placement of asphalt throughout Australia. With over 30 years of industry experience, we are known for producing high quality asphalt and some of the most innovative products in the Australian market.
**Main Duties/Responsibilities**
- Ensuring the Pre-Start Checklists are carried out prior to the operation of the loader, forklift and bobcat.
- Daily operation of loader to safely carrying and placing materials.
- Daily operation of forklift to safely unloading bulk bags into correct material silos.
- Daily operation of bobcat sweeper to safely maintaining general yard housekeeping.
- Organising incoming aggregate for daily production requirement.
- Ensuring loader, forklift and bobcat are free of any undue maintenance or service.
- Maintaining the loader, forklift, and bobcat in a clean and tidy condition as per cleaning schedule.
- Ensure the silos are loaded with the correct material to ensure there is no contamination.
- Assisting with other production duties including but not limited to operating asphalt plants, general labouring, and general plant maintenance, when required.
**Skills and Experience**
Qualifications:
- Driver's License C class.
- Construction Industry White Card or equivalent.
- Conduct Civil Construction Front End Loader Operations Certificate or equivalent.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience as a qualified loader operator working in a similar working environment.
- Previous experience as loader operator in asphalt production will be highly regarded.
**Skills**:
- Ability to operate forklift and loader.
- Able to carry out all works in a safe manner (as per Company Procedures).
- Able to accommodate early start in the morning as well as weekend works, and nightshift works.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physically fit to carry out all duties.

The pay is an hourly rate plus penalties. The range is $73,000 to $75,000 per annum which includes overtime.
