ACO Halgan is a roto-moulding and fabrication manufacturer based in NSW, VIC & QLD that requires a Plastic Fabricator and Poly Welder in Pakenham, embrace a dynamic role and be a part of our innovative team today!
The role requires you to
* Perform plastic fabrication and poly welding tasks – primarily joining large HDPE sections.
* Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.
* Examine welds for width of bead, penetration and quality.
* Able to read and follow detailed product drawings.
* Work independently and as part of a team
* Responsible for assuring the quality of their own work.
* Record information, such as product details and dates of production.
* Be reliable, punctual and dependable.
* Strong commitment to safety & environment
Skills and experience
You will need to have,
* Previous factory/ workshop experience and can follow safety requirements.
* Preferably 2 years of experience using extrusion welding and hot air welding equipment and/or Plastic welding certificate.
* Mechanical aptitude including reading & interpreting engineering drawings.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability
* Forklift ticket
