Overview
Lead with culture, care and connection. This position is focused on improving mental health, social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic, culturally safe, wraparound care in collaboration with local Aboriginal Medical Services and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.
Remuneration:
$109,247 - $133,156 per annum + super

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, culturally responsive mental health assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation services.
Build strong and respectful partnerships with families, communities, and service providers.
Deliver culturally safe, wraparound care for children, young people, and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Contribute to a collaborative model of care that centers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of being, knowing and doing.
About You
You thrive on collaboration and connection. You'll work with the CAMHS and YAMHS Leadership Teams to deliver culturally safe and responsive clinical care that meets Aboriginal communities' needs. You value community, culture and compassion and bring these values to your practice. You are committed to culturally safe and supportive team environments and have a focus on engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must hold a qualification in one of the following: Occupational Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Counsellor (Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health or Djirruwang Program), Nutrition and Dietetics with eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association and general registration via the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. For CNS2: relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years of clinical experience.
Eligibility to drive in NSW and interstate and willingness to travel for work.
