Pacific Bay Resort is seeking a reliable and hardworking Houseman / Houseperson to join our amazing Housekeeping team.
This role has been created to support our busy housekeeping department and plays a vital part in ensuring our guest rooms are finished efficiently and to a high standard. You'll be the go-to support person for our room attendants, helping with anything extra required while rooms are being cleaned so our housekeepers can stay focused on completing rooms on time.
About the Role
Working closely with the Housekeeping team, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Delivering and restocking linen, towels and guest amenities
* Replacing or sourcing items such as TV remotes, pillows, irons or other room stock
* Assisting with moving furniture or bedding as required
* Responding quickly to housekeeping requests throughout the day
* Maintaining storage areas and linen rooms in a tidy and organised manner
* Supporting the team to ensure rooms are guest-ready as efficiently as possible
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Be physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
* Have a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
* Be reliable, punctual and happy to support a team environment
* Be organised and able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting
* Have good attention to detail and take pride in your work
* Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage, but not essential

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $24.95 – $47.33 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
