Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Administrative Officer to provide high-quality administrative support and contribute to the success of our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, managing correspondence, calls, and emails with internal and external stakeholders. They will also assist with financial processes such as billing and invoicing using tools like Xero and other accounting software.
This is a maternity leave cover role but may be extended for a top performer.
Key Responsibilities
* General Administrative Duties: Managing daily operations, performing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service.
* Financial Processing Experience: Assisting with accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.
* Xero Experience: Proficient in using Xero accounting software, with at least 6 months experience working with the platform.
* Account Reconciliation: Performing daily and weekly account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, operating reports, and budgets by collecting and reviewing data.
Requirements
* Minimum 6 months experience with Xero accounting software.
* Minimum 6 months experience in accounts payable and receivable.
* Experience with account reconciliation (daily/weekly).
* Experience in financial reporting and data collection.
