Balmoral Plantation is seeking a dedicated Macadamia Orchard Farm Hand to join our team in Caniaba, NSW. This full-time position (45 hours per week) will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our thriving macadamia orchard.
What you'll be doing
Performing general farm duties such as weeding, mulching, spraying, harvesting, mowing, irrigation, general tractor driving, and any other job required to maintain the orchard
Assisting with shed duties and processing of macadamia nuts
Operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery
What we're looking for
Previous experience working in a horticultural or agricultural setting, preferred but not required.
Strong practical skills and the ability to use a range of farm equipment and machinery
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety
A valid Manual driver's license and the ability to work in Caniaba, NSW
