Job Profile
The Payroll Officer position is a key role in our organization's accounting operations, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager. The main objective of this job is to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with all relevant payment obligations.
* Collaborate closely with the Payroll Manager to deliver high-quality accounting services.
* Process and review hotel payrolls according to established procedures.
* Manually calculate termination, redundancy, and other payments as required.
* Prepare and submit regular payroll payments in accordance with company policies.
* Coordinate EFT transfer runs for processing via bank software systems.
* Develop and verify monthly salary and benefit accruals.
* Support hotels in reconciling end-of-month actual data and accruals.
* Assist with payment summaries and year-end financial processes.
* Generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
* Interact effectively with Human Resources and Finance departments across participating hotels.
* Contribute to gathering and reporting Shared Service Center processing metrics.
* Participate in month-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
