Our client's data enhancements project consists of the continued expansion of Ada (our Enterprise Data Warehouse and associated data capabilities). The project has 2 main streams of work including a) Analysis of data needs of current projects / programs, the BW report backlog and current BW/BO and Agile Analytics usage, and b) implementing additional data and reporting into Ada in line with the prioritisation approach. This role will lead the development of data engineering methods, tools and techniques. The role will support the design, implementation and build of data products in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Supports and leads data engineering for strategic and complex programmes ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, approved architecture and industry best practices. The responsibilities will include providing technical support for the data platform, as well as offering both advisory and hands-on support for the team. Develop new solutions for the data platform in liaison with key stakeholders ensuring requirements are met Lead continuous improvement by maintaining awareness of data and technology developments and making appropriate recommendations to grow the data capability of the organisation Ensuring the availability and responsiveness of the Data platform within the agreed business hours. Contributes to and maintains the Data Roadmap and development standards Ensures all data products adhere to security policies and appropriate escalation processes are in place for all applications Documents all solutions and integration components for support purposes in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures and adheres to any applicable configuration management procedures Ensure changes follow SAPN change methodology, including testing and appropriate backup plans where needed, and collaboration with business and Digital and Technology Stakeholders.
